- An interaction between Drawings and Poems -

The poems are a selection of writings I have made over a course of ten years, which I have combined with new ink drawings to go alongside it. The poems are typed on an old ‘Hermes’ dating back to 1933 on semi transparent chalk paper. The drawings and poems have been affixed to the lids of weathered ‘SBB’ train boxes, which I have cut in half prior to usage. During the exhibition in the Phartrotte the wooden panels were hung on large chains and a variation of white candles were places on center table to intensify and dramatize the atmosphere. All these elements combined served to accentuate the rawness of emotion expressed in the poems and drawings.
